“I was born in 1980 in Erfurt, a small town in East Germany. I studied illustration and typography at the Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig. Since then I live on my own island, which I call "Janta-Island" and work there as an illustrator, graphic designer and screen printer for bands, publishers and companies. If you don't find me in my workshop on "Janta Island", you'll probably find me fishing on the beach or wandering in vain through the forests of my island.“
